InPore selected as Accelerate Michigan semi-finalist
InPore Technologies, a producer of unique additives for water filtration membrane applications based in Lansing, MI, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition. The Michigan State University spin off company was formed in 2010 to commercialize mesoporous materials technology invented by University Distinguished Professor of Chemistry Thomas Pinnavaia.

InPore wins two NSF SBIRs

InPore Technologies, a Lansing, MI-based producer of unique additives for plastics applications, has recently been awarded two NSF SBIR grants of $150,000 each to develop application and research data for two target markets: water filtration membranes and flame retardant polymers. The Michigan State University spin off company was formed in 2010 to commercialize mesoporous materials technology invented by University Distinguished Professor of Chemistry Thomas Pinnavaia.

Roston was invited, by NSF Program Director Prakash Balan, to participate on the wrap-up panel session of the NSF Small Business Innovation Showcase.

Pinnavaia will present recent data on the development of mesoporous silicate particles as a char forming flame retardant material.
